Emma Jones is a multi award winning, professional female photographer and digital artist based in Tameside, Greater Manchester.

Emma's photographic ability, technically and visually is truly unique. She is a very talented artist with a good eye for detail, composition and a bold and distinctive style. Her purpose is to create photos with a difference, photographs that stand out and push the borders of imagery to the limit.

She is highly skilled not only as a photographer but as a digital Artist. Nowadays all images you see in magazines and adverts will have been subject to some form of digital manipulation and retouching is a delicate art in itself.

As you can see from Emma's sites, her specialty and passion photographing people. She is able to capture her subject's individuality and personality while applying her highly individual style to create powerful and provoking images.

Because she has worked with a wide variety of people from a range of backgrounds, she is easily able to bring out her clients confidence and individual beauty with her approach and style of photography. Today's overly airbrushed and drastically altered society is proof that retouching is nothing more than a false ideal, a dream if you like; we all know that real beauty comes from within and that is why Emma's clients radiate!

90% of services (from start to finish) are undertaken solely by Emma. Client consultation, photography, artwork, album design, admin, even the brewing up! This ensures her high standards are met and her individual creativity flows thoroughly in every project she undertakes.

The only two tasks not fully completed by Emma are half of the digital image developing, she is currently training Melanie Jones to aid her with the ever growing workload in this area, and obviously the hair and make-up styling; she has three fantastic hair and make-up artists for this which you can read about below.

Nina Wren is a professional, experienced and very talented hair and make up artist originally from Greater Manchester. She recently moved to lovely Anglesey and adores the boudoir styling that much, she travels up to Tameside for the sessions.

Nina specialises in fashion, wedding and occasion hair & make-up and is often featured in Cheshire and Lancashire Bride Magazine, giving invaluable advice on hair & make up styles and techniques. Over the years Nina's work has involved magazine, photographic and TV, working with international bridal designers, celebrities and has had her work shown in Cosmopolitan & Hello magazine.

Nina is not only a talented hair & make-up artist, she is also an esteem designer of bespoke hair accessories and hair styles and is one of the first stylists in the UK to launch an online hairstyle magazine showcasing a range of hair designs offering a front, back and side view of each style.

Nina's wedding/bridal clients will be offered a voucher for a free 7x5" print worth £25 upon booking their shoot.

Danielle Horan Highly skilled specialist in fashion, makeover and bridal hair and make-up based in Greater Manchester.

Danielle has styled countless women from all backgrounds and having worked for many years in the makeover and fashion industry, knows ALL the tricks of the trade (she may even let you in on some)!

She is another new member of the Miss Boudoir® team having been introduced to Emma in late 2007 by Nina Wren. Shortly after, Danielle became a mum hence the delay in her appearance.

Danielle and Nina have walked the hair and make-up journey together like two peas in a pod! They trained together, worked at the same studios and make up a part of a specialist bridal hair and make-up team, styling the blushing brides of the UK!

Melanie Lenihan is a highly skilled MUA from Huddersfield who draws her inspiration from everything in life; old and new, street and royalty, graffiti and monet. She can create inspirational styles, keeping her eye on the trends at all times thus constantly creating different looks and moods.

Melanie has never looked back after her lifelong hobby turned into her vocation, word of mouth and recommendations catapulted her into an exciting industry. Her open and down to earth approach results in her creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere to work in.

It is no surprise that with Melanie’s perfected technique and friendly personality she is a well sought after leader of her trade/field.

Melanie Jones is the newest member of the Miss Boudoir® team and older sister to Emma. After expressing an interest in the business, Emma decided to give her the opportunity to be trained in certain areas of the boudoir and learn a little about what she does.

Melanie is currently learning the ropes of digital photo developing which will give Emma additional time to photograph and help more fabulous and brave women.

She has been Emma's photographic subject a fair few times over the years and features in the styling gallery under "Mel J". She has often been referred to as an"English Rose" by Emma's clients and fully understands what it feels like to be in front of the camera.

Melanie is a professional musician, trained classically in cello and piano. She has studied and performed in the USA and Europe with her most recent accomplishment being a Master Degree at the prestigious San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Melanie has a passion for cooking, eating her own cooking and port (white port is her preferred tipple)!!
